RADNOR, PA – FEBRUARY 1, 2018 – The Haverford Trust Company, a private firm providing portfolio management, trust and estate administration, banking services, financial planning and retirement plan services, today introduced Tim Gillespie as Vice President and Director of Client Management. Gillespie joins Haverford with more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management industry, specifically in the high net worth and institutional segments.

Gillespie spent the past 20 years working for Wilmington Trust, an M&T Bank company, in several roles within the firm’s Wealth Advisory Services division. Previously he was President of the Wealth Advisory Services Group for Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. He was a founding member of the team that began Wilmington Trust’s Pennsylvania operation. Gillespie also worked for Mellon Bank and Meridian Bank in his career. He takes over for retiring Director of Sales Norm Lubin.

Gillespie also serves the community in a number of different board and leadership positions. He serves on the Board and the Investment Committee for the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and LaSalle College High School. He is also chair of the Parkinson’s Council of Philadelphia Golf Committee and sits on the boards of The Union League of Philadelphia and Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School where he chairs the Finance Committee. Gillespie received his bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University and his MBA from Temple University.
