Senior Operations Officer and Team Lead Robert J. Gormley, recently celebrated his 20th anniversary working with Haverford Trust. We took some time to talk with him, look back on his time here thus far, and highlight some of his proudest accomplishments and lessons learned along the way. What position did you have when you first started at Haverford?

My first position at Haverford was Portfolio Accountant.

What has working at Haverford done for you personally or professionally?

Working for Haverford has provided me with a great deal of knowledge and education in the industry and has shown me how the high levels of service that we provide our clients really makes a difference.

What advice do you have for new team members just starting out in their careers?

My advice is to ask a lot of questions, seek out subject matter experts, take advantage of our access to leadership – their doors are always open.

What has kept me at Haverford is the company culture, the people, and the outstanding benefits.

What are you most proud of during your time here?

I am most proud of being part of and growing with a prominent and well known Wealth Manager like Haverford Trust.
