RADNOR, PA – SEPTEMBER 3, 2025 – The Haverford Trust Company, a private firm providing investment and wealth management, trust and estate administration, private banking, financial planning and retirement plan services, today announced one C-Suite and five VP-level promotions. Brian McDonnell has been named Chief Technology Officer; Mac Wilson has been named Vice President, Reporting and Performance; and Jennifer Anderson has been named Vice President, Client Services Learning & Development. John D’Anna, David Moniz and Mary Sutphen have each been named Vice President, Portfolio Manager. “These six team members are exceptional leaders, and their well-deserved promotions are in recognition of the value, expertise and commitment they show their colleagues and clients on a daily basis,” said Joseph J. With nearly 20 years of information technology experience in the financial services industry, Brian is responsible for partnering with the firm’s business units to develop innovative solutions that drive improvements, optimization and efficiencies through the effective use of technology. Brian is a member of the Society of Information Management and earned his Bachelor of Science from Widener University. Mac Wilson joined Haverford in 2021 and, since then, has worked cross-functionally with the firm’s Operations, Client Services, Research, Compliance and Technology teams to define, design and continuously improve upon their performance and reporting systems. Mac earned his Bachelor of Arts from Western Maryland College. Jennifer Anderson assumes the role of Vice President, Client Services Learning & Development, after previously serving as a Client Services Learning Partner. In this role, Jennifer leads the training of the Client Services team, while recommending and implementing learning solutions that promote efficient team operations. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science from West Chester University and her Master of Business Administration from Drexel University. She is also a Certified Project Management Professional. As Vice President, Portfolio Manager, John D’Anna develops client and advisor relationships and manages investment portfolios. John earned a Bachelor of Science from Susquehanna University and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University. He holds FINRA Series 65 and Series 3 licenses and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. John also is a board member of Philadelphia Outward Bound School and the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University. With more than 15 years of experience in financial services, David Moniz develops client relationships and manages investment portfolios as a Vice President, Portfolio Manager. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is also a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. John is a board member for the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, an investment committee member for the Council for Relationships, and a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and the CFA Institute. Possessing nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mary Sutphen develops client and advisor relationships and manages investment portfolios as a Vice President, Portfolio Manager. She earned her Bachelor of Science from St. Joseph’s University and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
