Promotions From Within Speak to the Firm’s Commitment to Fostering Talent and Investing in World-Class Leadership
The Haverford Trust Company, a private firm providing investment and wealth management, trust and estate administration, private banking, financial planning and retirement plan services, today announced two VP-level promotions. Jacquelyn Meehan will assume the role of Vice President, Director of Trust Administration, and John Thomas will serve as Vice President, Fixed Income and Portfolio Manager.

Meehan assumes the role of Vice President, Director of Trust Administration after spending the past 23 years at the firm, most recently as Director of Trust Administration. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Jackie is responsible for administering individual trust accounts, estates, and foundations. Jackie is a member of both the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council and Montgomery County Estate Planning Council and earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Drexel University.
With more than 25 years of financial services experience, John Thomas joined the Haverford Team as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in 2021 and quickly rose the ranks to Vice President. In his role, John provides customized fixed income portfolios to institutional clients, oversees key investment decisions and asset allocation for Haverford’s fixed income client base, and spearheads institutional fixed-income trading. A Chartered Financial Analyst, John earned his Bachelor of Science from West Chester University.
