The Haverford Trust Company recently introduced Rosemary DiRita as Vice President for the newly created role of Philanthropic Advisor. Rosemary will lead Haverford’s Philanthropic Advisory Services practice, which provides nonprofit clients with strategic advice, education, support and resources that complement their investment solutions. Rosemary brings 25 years of experience in philanthropy services and nonprofit relationship management.
For more than 45 years, Haverford has supported private foundations and nonprofit partners as they feed, educate, enlighten, connect and heal communities, with an intentional focus on serving Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. The Philanthropic Advisory Services offerings deepen Haverford’s existing value and commitment to the philanthropic community.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rosemary to Haverford Trust. With her wealth of experience working with nonprofits, her guidance will be instrumental for the growth of our nonprofit solutions,” said Keith Aleardi, President of The Haverford Trust Company. “For years, Haverford has delivered a robust financial planning offering to individuals and families, and now we’re bringing that same holistic service philosophy to nonprofit and philanthropic organizations.”
Rosemary worked for the past 10 years at Glenmede Trust Company as an endowment and foundation advisor, team leader and managing director. Her prior experience includes roles at AmeriCorps as a grant management specialist, Bike & Build Inc., Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland, and work at the Public Policy Institute of Georgetown University.
“The significant investment that Haverford has made into its philanthropic services, along with its commitment to quality, is what compelled me to join the team,” said Rosemary DiRita, Vice President, Philanthropic Advisor. “I’m honored to lead this offering and support the important work of Haverford’s nonprofit and philanthropic partners.”
